The tapas tour in Fuerteventura is a culinary journey to get to know the culture and typical flavors of this island.
An interactive tour awaits you in each farm to learn about the local products of the island.
You will taste tunos, mojo and jams. You will learn how healthy olive oil is made and you will not miss a visit to a goat farm for a tasting of the delicious cheese.
We will approach the local lifevisiting three selected farms that will make you taste new flavors and new flavors.
During this tour of the interior, we will taste the cactus fruits, the Indian tuno and the edible nopal cactus. Tunos are rich in vitamins and antioxidants and their color is a mix of red, purple and crimson. We learn how to care for the plant and harvest the fruit.
In addition, the guide will conduct a workshop on green mojo and delicious white aioli.
Inthe second finca the cozy atmosphere and the history of the local family make this moment special.
We will experience together a professional tasting of the house's extra virgin olive oil and talk about organic olive oil production and cultivation on the farm.
During the tour we will also find several fruit trees that attract with seasonal fruits.
Theysay that "Fuerteventura has more goats than inhabitants" and for this reason goat cheese is the most important product of Fuerteventura recognized internationally.
Julian's goat farm, which has been in existence for generations, opens the doors to his family business. Good goat cheese is made according to a traditional recipe.
We will taste several types of cheese and enjoy a glass of red wine.
We will show you what Pella de Gofio is and explain the importance of this cereal for the Canarian culture.
