Spain is a country located in southwestern Europe and North Africa. In addition to occupying most of the Iberian Peninsula, it is also made up of two archipelagos: the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
The country has several climates depending on the region. Atlantic climate, continental oceanic climate, continental climate, Mediterranean climate and subtropical climate.
As for gastronomy, there is a lot of variety. We can enjoy a good potato omelette, the unconditional flavour of Iberian ham, Andalusian gazpacho, paella, Asturian fabada, Galician octopus, squid, 'croquetas', pan tumaca, marmitako and the 'papas arrugadas' with 'mojo picón' typical of the Canary Islands. This is just a taste of what Spain has to offer in terms of food. Spanish gastronomy is one of the healthiest and richest in the world.
Spain is one of the three most visited countries in the world, visited by millions of travellers every year. There are many places to visit, but these are the most famous: La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the Prado Museum in Madrid, Plaza España in Seville, the Alhambra in Granada, La Rambla in Barcelona, the Teide National Park in Tenerife, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the beaches and coves of Mallorca, the Royal Palace in Madrid and many more.
All in all, Spain is an ideal place to visit for all it has to offer, for its beaches and pleasant climate, the country's rich artistic heritage and its gastronomic wealth.

Tenerife, much more than sun and beach
