Located in the Anaga Rural Park, a Biosphere Reserve, this is undoubtedly Tenerife's best-kept secret and, until you visit it, nobody thinks that there is anything like it in a destination that is mostly known for sun and beach.
A landscape of lush vegetation awaits you on this short walk in a forest almost as old as the formation of the island.
We will walk through the most biodiverse place in Europe: Laurisilva de Cruz del Carmen. Our low-difficulty trail will pass through the interior of the forest, where we can get to know the best flora and fauna, as well as enjoy breathtaking views of ravines.
All this through a landscape very similar to the time of the dinosaurs. Before, the specialised guide will give an introduction to the area at one of the viewpoints in the area, to understand the reason for this forest on an island like Tenerife.
After this, probably the best part of the experience will come. We will get to know a Guachinche, where typical Canarian food will be tasted: gofio, fiesta meat, chicharros, quesillo, local wine...
