The tour starts at the Waikiki Beach Club in Corralejo at 10 am. If you need transportation, we offer pick up service from your hotel for your convenience.
Before setting sail, our guide will provide you with basic instructions on how to handle the kayak safely and efficiently. Afterwards, we will start paddling through the Bocaina Strait, the passage that separates Lobos Island from Fuerteventura. This trip lasts approximately 1 hour and offers spectacular views of the seascape.
Upon arrival at Lobos Island, it is time to dive into the crystal clear waters with snorkeling equipment. We will spend until 12:30 pm exploring the marine diversity of the area, observing species such as crabs, mussels, and schools of sea bream. Our guide will be happy to share information about the fascinating marine flora and fauna. You will also enjoy a delicious picnic to recharge your batteries.
After snorkeling, we will visit El Puertito, the only settlement on Lobos Island, known for its picturesque charm. Then, we will start paddling back to Corralejo, with arrival expected at 3:00 pm.
No, no previous kayaking experience is necessary. Our tour is designed to be accessible to both beginners and those with experience. The guide will provide a brief training before starting, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and safe during the activity.
It is recommended to bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat or cap, and a bottle of water. All necessary equipment for kayaking and snorkeling, including waterproof bags for your belongings, will be provided by us.
The safety of our participants is our top priority. If weather conditions are not suitable for the activity in Fuerteventura, the tour can be rescheduled for another day with better conditions. We will inform you in advance of any changes to the schedule to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The complete tour lasts between 5 and 6 hours. Of this time, approximately 1 hour is spent paddling from Corralejo to Lobos Island and back. About 1.5 hours are spent snorkeling and exploring the rich marine life. In addition, there is time for a picnic and exploration at El Puertito, along with initial instructions and transportation, which completes the experience.
