Fuerteventura
This route allows us to walk around the Escanfraga Mountain, which is not only the highest on the island of Fuerteventura, at 533 metres high, but we can also see how this volcano was used in the past by farmers to grow staple foodstuffs.
Don't miss the opportunity to do this experience in small groups (maximum 8 people) and without mixing languages .
1.Start: After picking up the clients at their accommodation at the established time, we will go to the starting point of this route that allows us to climb Montaña Escanfraga, located in the north of the island.
2. Towards the summit: The hike starts at the base of the crater and, along a winding path upwards, the track finally reaches the edge of the crater. Walking along the path known as the "camel trail", we reach the highest point of the volcano, which, at 533 metres high, is the highest volcano on Fuerteventura.
3. The crater at our feet: You can challenge yourself to the adventure of climbing the rim of the volcano, rewarding yourself with breathtaking views over the north of Fuerteventura. As you walk, you will learn how the local people, in the past, used this volcano to survive, taking advantage of the low rainfall to grow cereals.
4. Immortalise your moment: After a well-deserved rest and some photos to immortalise the moment, we will start the return to the starting point, and then return to the accommodation.
Note: Don't forget to bring comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for the activity, water, picnic, sun protection, hat and windbreaker.
