Live this 360º immersion experience in the impressive landscapes of the Torcal de Antequera Natural Park, declared a World Heritage Site, and in the Montes de Málaga Natural Park.
Did you know that Malaga is the European territory with more goats? The grazing of the Malagan goat is one of the economic and gastronomic pillars of the province of Málaga.
The environment: the experience takes place in a family livestock farm surrounded by protected natural areas. You will first visit the livestock with an Official Tourist Guide of the Junta de Andalucía, and after that, you will go to the cheese workshop.
Cheese workshop: a cheese workshop is held in which each person makes his or her own traditional Malagan cheese with 'pleita' and 'entremijo' and shares some time with the herding animals in which you can learn to milk by hand, manage the herd or play with the goats during lambing season.
The gourmet country agape: you will finish with a gourmet country agape "sabor a Málaga" quality brand consisting of: 4 types of 100% Malagan goat cheese, quince jelly, grapes, seasoned tomato, bull's egg, village bread, guacamole, carrots, fried potatoes, cold meats, migas, white wine D.O Malaga "Sierras de Málaga", orange juice, water, coffee, tea and homemade sponge cake.
The food is served under centuries-old oak trees. As a seat, alpacas are used . Isn't this the most fun you can have? But don't worry, this is a premium experience. Therefore the tables are dressed with table linen and cloth napkins and ceramic glassware and tableware is used.
The siesta: you can take a nap after lunch, or simply rest and admire the view, in a beautifully decorated chill out area with a tarp and matching cushions.
The native Malagan goat breed is one of the best dairy breeds in the world.
It produces foods of extraordinary quality, such as milk and goat's milk from Malaga. Did you know that the best cheese in the world in 2022 according to the World Cheese Awards is a goat's milk cheese from Malaga?
The excellence of this product is due to extensive management. The basis of animal feeding is grazing. Grazing influences the goat to eat more and different types of grass.
This way of feeding the goat is healthy for the animal and sustainable for the countryside, since it increases biodiversity and reduces the risk of fires. Grazing has been environmentally friendly since ancient times, defines the Malagan territory and contributes to the fixation of the rural population, in addition to producing extraordinarily tasty food.
