Queso Botello was born as an export project of Canarian artisan cheeses outside the islands. Its main mission has been to give visibility, promote and encourage the taste for artisan products such as cheese, a jewel of our gastronomy, so special by its very nature.

On the other hand, here in the islands their main concern has been to transmit the experiences of cheese and every day they work to put together a selection of excellent cheeses from artisanal cheesemakers.

At present, the store has cheeses, mostly from raw milk and small production, from almost all the islands: Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, El Hierro and La Palma.

Specially selected on the condition that they are superb in terms of quality and organoleptic attributes. Each one has its own characteristics and all are produced by people committed to their work. As for cheese from outside the islands we have a fantastic selection that we will be expanding little by little.

Enjoy a sensory experience in Las Canteras Beach. You will taste different types of artisan cheese accompanied with local wine to learn about its flavor, elaboration, fermentation and history.

We will have a tasting of 10 artisan cheeses. We will start with an explanation of how artisan cheeses are made, we will talk about the different types of milk, rennet and fermentation. 

It will be a complete plate covering cow, sheep and goat cheeses. 5 of the best Canarian cheeses and 5 foreign cheeses. To accompany the experience we will have half a bottle of wine or cava included.
