Senda Ecoway takes you on this 5 hour canyoning activity in Gran Canaria with fun and dynamic guides. Whether you are an extreme sports fan or looking for a thrilling experience in an amazing environment, canyoning will give you goosebumps!
Jumping into the water from rocks, using the current as a slide or abseiling are just a few examples of what you will experience during this adventure - an unusual way to discover the beauty of the island!
Departure from Telde. From May to October the starting point for this activity is in the north of the island of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of Telde. Specifically, the meeting point is at the door of the Decathlon sports shop in Telde.
Departure from Mogán. From November to April the starting point of the activity is in the south of the island of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of Mogán. Specifically, the meeting point is at La Fuente de los Azulejos (on the road to Mogán).
All the necessary equipment is included. In this senda we include all the necessary material to be able to develop the climbing activity with the maximum protection and in the most efficient way: wetsuits, helmets, harness, carabiner and eight.
The activity and the sport. In this experience you will do a canyoning activity where you will practice different exercises such as: walking, jumping, climbing, swimming, abseiling and others.
Places where the activity takes place. In the winter season, the activity takes place in the southwest of the island, in the ravines of La Manta, El Toro or Cañón del Águila. However, in the summer season the activity is carried out in the central-northern area of the island in the ravine of Los Cernícalos or La Mina.
Small groups. This activity is carried out in small groups of 2 to 10 people, in order to guarantee good fun, safety and assistance from the instructor to the whole group.
Specialised instructor-guide. During the whole sporting activity we will have the guidance and assistance of a monitor specialised in risk sports. In this way, we guarantee safety and, of course, fun!
Picnic included. After the sport we will have time for a picnic including fruit, chocolate, biscuits and water.
5 hours duration. The activity takes place from 09:00 to 15:00, but the duration of the activity will depend on the canyon chosen.
Photographic report. This experience includes some photos to immortalise the memory of the impressive canyoning activity.
