Tegueste is a municipality whose festivities and heritage have a lot to do with flowers. You know why, don't you? Well, you can't miss this senda.
We will start with a small route from flower to flower through one of the most outstanding farms in Tegueste, the Zamoranos farm. Here, we will learn about the history of the municipality and this family, and we will also place special emphasis on their festivities to learn about a unique dance in which flowers played a fundamental role. At the end, we will go to the Tegueste Farmer's Market.
Once at the market, we will be able to go from flower to flower to learn a little more about this crop and its peculiarities, we will have the pleasure of meeting Natalia from Floresiendom, a young entrepreneur who grows her flowers in the municipality in a 100% sustainable way. We will also meet Laura from Innoflower who will introduce us to the new and fabulous world of edible flowers together with Pedro Rodriguez de Dios, who will delight us with a gastroexhibition.
At the end, we will be able to taste some of these dishes and we will also take home a pack of edible flowers.
