The times are changing and now naturism has become one of the most demanded activities when travelling to the paradise called the Canary Islands. What better opportunity to get away from the textile and show your ass than the endless golden sandy beaches and the eternal summer of Fuerteventura?

Fuerteventura's beaches where to practice nudism

If you thought that the characteristics of Fuerteventura were going to deprive you of quiet and secluded beaches, we invite you to read our post.

Here, you will discover the wonders that this island has to offer so that you can towel off without a care in the world, but don't forget the sun cream, it hurts when you sit down!

Fuerteventura

ALJIBE BEACH

Playa El Aljibe is one of the beaches that make up El Cotillo, with a total length of more than 1.5 kilometres. Thanks to its large size, the area has been divided into several parts for surfers, naturism lovers and those who prefer the textile part.

Like most of the beaches on the west coast, it's notorious for its big waves, but strolling along its white sand and with the weather always in your favour, it's the perfect excuse to visit whether you're swimming or not.

MARFOLÍN BEACH

With an extension of 950 metres long, we find the beach of Marfolín. It is the closest to the village of El Cotillo, so it is very easy to reach on foot, by car or by bus.

This beach has different services such as showers, toilets and disabled access, as well as being complemented by local restaurants and bars that give you the best opportunity to taste the best dishes of the local gastronomy.

Here, the waves are not as high as on the previous beach, and many naturists visit the beach regularly thanks to the surrounding facilities and the lack of wind. So, you know! If you want a guaranteed swim, you can't miss it.

EL CHARCÓN BEACH

Here we have another area of El Cotillo! It is just over 300 metres long, with a mixture of golden sand and the characteristic stones of a volcanic terrain.

It is the most popular beach for naturists thanks to its unspoilt and secluded setting, which is also surrounded by desolate beauty.

Here, it is usually quite windy, but the swell is quite gentle, which gives you the opportunity to take a swim without having to fight a rough fight with a furious sea.

BEATRIZ BEACH

With a length of 200 metres and a width of 18 metres, we find Beatriz Beach in the municipality of La Oliva, surrounded by the dunes so characteristic of our beautiful island.

Naturism takes advantage of the few signs on the road to make these beaches one of the best options for not wearing a towel. There are no services nearby, so we recommend that you bring your own snack for a day at the beach.

If you choose to sample the local gastronomy, the village of Cotillo is only a 10 minute drive away.

PLAYA DEL POZO

Its extension of 450 metres makes it the ideal setting for naturism, also conditioned by the tranquillity that surrounds it.

There is hardly any wind, and it is also one of the best beaches for birdwatching typical of this island, which not only turns your day into a magnificent opportunity to relax and show your buttocks, but also to glimpse the most fascinating nature that its golden dunes give us.

OLD MAN'S BEACH

Joining up with Playa del Pozo, its total length is about 600metres. It is at the foot of the Hotel Riu Palace TresIslas, and has a wonderfulview of the nearby Isla de Lobos.

White sand, crystal clear waters, and the lack of overcrowding, make it also one of our options for naturism. However, it is designed more for hotel guests, so privacy will be a luxury that we will lack here.

Don't miss the exclusive PicnicExperience on the Beach

Do you want to be the protagonist of a picnic on a magical beach and enjoy an unforgettable moment? Surprise your partner!

Treat yourself to a picnic for a birthday, a Valentine's Day gift, to enjoy with your friends, an anniversary, a family afternoon on one of Fuerteventura's beaches, book your place for an incredible evening.

EL BAJO NEGRO BEACH

Our ideal beach, as it is usually frequented mostly by naturists. Surrounded by a dune park, it is located one kilometre away from the two Riu Hotels mentioned above.

White sand and a calm and crystalline sea make it a peaceful landscape to enjoy a wonderful day surrounded by tranquillity and the gentle movement of the waves, regardless of the time of year.

LONG BEACH

800 metres long, isolated location and a low occupancy rate, make this beach another of the protagonists for our naturism lovers.

It has no showers or lifeguards, but its characteristics make it the ideal place to take a dip and stroll along the water's edge, letting the gentle wind blow us even in the most intimate area.

EL DORMIDERO BEACH

One of the best qualities of this beach is that it is not crowded even in August. Even if it is not a naturist beach in its entirety, one of its secluded areas stands out for its conglomeration of naturist lovers.

The majority of naturists live here with tourists and locals in equal parts due to the tranquillity it provides you with and the cosiness of its white sand. It also has a beach bar in the northern part of the beach that is a must to visit.

PLAYA DEL MORO

Just a couple of steps away from the FV-1 road, we find El Moro beach. You can't miss it, as it is right next to the FV-1 road and can be seen immediately.

It is a wide beach with a length between 400 and 500 metres, which helps to keep it from being crowded, its only disadvantage? You won't be able to enjoy the silence and relaxation, as it's a bit noisy as it's parallel to the road.

SOTAVENTO BEACH

We move to the southeast of Fuerteventura, and we come across the Sotavento beach, 1,100 metres long, which makes it a paradise on our land. It is surrounded by immense dunes bathed by calm and crystalline waters, only altered by the force of the wind.

It does not have shower facilities, but its length means that it has a low occupancy rate in certain areas, perfect for naturists to take advantage of the golden sand and the sun's rays to stroll along it without any inconvenience.

LAS COLORADAS BEACH

Still in the south of Fuerteventura, we find another of the best known nudist beaches. It is a completely unspoilt spot, 230 metres long and easily accessible both by car and on foot.

It is only one kilometre from the port of Morro Jable, so although it does not have any services, it is the ideal beach for picnics or to come and taste the delicious fish just a few metres away in the Cofradía de Pescadoresrestaurant.

Las Coloradas beach is the perfect area for naturism lovers thanks to the characteristics of the place because even if it is secluded and discreet, it is also very wide and not too hidden.

COFETE BEACH

We arrive at the most famous unspoilt beach of all the Canary Islands: Cofete. Its 12 kilometres make it a place that not only impresses for its size, but also for the nature that surrounds it thanks to its location in the middle of the Sandía Natural Park.

Like some of the beaches already mentioned, its length makes it the perfect place to enjoy a day with your bum in the air or simply join the visitors who are more inclined to keep their towels on.

However, be careful with the swell, because due to the strong wind, the sea gets more furious than in other areas.

JARUBE BEACH

To close this blog, we move to the northwest of the island, to Puerto del Rosario, where we find one of the most beautiful beaches of fine sand, Playa de Jarubio. Its 230 metres are sheltered by cliffs that only reinforce even more the beauty of the place.

You have to decide when you want to visit this beach, because at certain times of the year, the wind and the sea can be quite a dangerous duo. Even so, there are signposts to advise you in case you have any problems.

It is a secluded beach that is best accessed by car via an asphalted road, the last stretch of which turns to dirt.

Thanks to this, it is an ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity of a summer or winter day, as it is not overcrowded and is usually occupied by those who are used to airing their most intimate parts.

So much for naturist beaches

So much for our recommendations of nudist beaches in Fuerteventura! This island contains an enviable wealth of culture, history, and gastronomy among others, but to come to Fuerteventura and not experience a tan without swimming costume marks on its paradisiacal beaches should be a crime.

Sometimes people make the mistake of thinking that Fuerteventura only has beaches, go deep into the heart of the island and you can discover incredible canyons in Fuerteventura.
