Four homemade challenges to turn quarantine around 🥊

Who says you can't have fun with your friends from the walls of your own home? Even if they're at home, with the challenges we're going to give you here you'll have anecdotes and fun for a long time.

Social networks are more alive today than ever before, mainly because they have become the main means of communication during these days of quarantine due to the national state of alarm over the.

Friends playing trivia games through camera-enabled apps, birthdays celebrated as a family thanks to Instagram video calls or joint film sessions, even if they are recorded.

Even phone calls, which seemed to many to be in danger of extinction since the birth of voice messages, have regained momentum in endless conversations.

As the use of social media has been boosted, they have managed to propel all the parts that make it special: information, memes, jokes, lots of drama and, yes, challenges.

The famous challenges that are able to get the whole planet suddenly focused on the same thing, driving not only people to move, but with the frenetic passage of time, forcing users to be more innovative, more creative, to go one step further.

Well, that's what we're going with today. We are going to offer you some challenges so that you and your friends can give another perspective on what the walls of your house can offer. Who says that there are impossible and that nothing can be done? We are going to show you the opposite and for all tastes!

Challenge 1: Who needs the gym?

The forties don't have to be an excuse for our sheets to stick to us or for the sofa to end up moulding to our noble figure. But if you're one of those who needs to hit the gym to get that group feeling going, there's nothing like a challenge with your friends to get you back into the habit.

We offer you a series of daily exercises to do together. Who will be the first to complete them?

  • Knee raises 15-20 repetitions
  • Jumping Jacks 15-20 repetitions
  • Static jogging 15-20 repetitions

Challenge 2: Time to get greasy

First, it was toilet paper, which has fallen in battle in all supermarkets. Next? Yes, yeast! We're not going to make the joke that there are so many bakers out there because we're in a pandemic, but wow, the reality is that everyone is putting their culinary skills to work these days.

And since everyone seems to have some flour and yeast at home, why not play a little roulette and challenge your friends to get their hands dirty too?

We give you a list of breads, you choose the one you prefer to bake and... you dare someone to bake one of the breads below!

You have to spice things up a bit, otherwise, everyone will opt for shortbread and go for it. Unleash your creativity!

  • Oatmeal and honey bread: a delicious and soft bread, very fluffy and slightly sweet.
  • Rye bread: the densest and most intense of all. If this is the first bread you choose for a challenge, you go straight to the expert classification.
  • Sliced bread: Who says you have to give up sandwich snacks? Or frozen chocolate rolls.
  • Hot dog buns: yes, a healthy diet is ideal, but who doesn't fancy a hot dog for dinner on a Friday night?
  • Village bread: an essential recipe to keep in mind.
  • Bao bread: for the more daring, or those who have a steamer at home.

If you feel like starting with oatmeal and honey bread, you can find the recipe in our post on the ideal menu for the whole family.

lightbulb Which plan to follow on your holidays?

Don't miss the Teide peakexperience : on foot or by cable car.

Get to know the most visited national park in Europe and climb the highest peak in Spain. Exceed your limits in this excursion to Teide peak with permits.

If you want to live a unique and environmentally friendly experience, and also get to know the Teide National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the help of a guide Senda, book your place for a guided tour of Teide with permits.

Challenge 3: The disco is calling me

If what you miss is not so much doing cardio and finishing with a battle cry, but rather singing out loud while dancing without thinking about the time or the day, this is the challenge for you.

Choose a choreography, the one you like the most, and dance a piece of it. The people you challenge will have to get their act together and follow the song until the song is complete and a new one starts!

If you want to take the opportunity to wear your best clothes, which with the issue of the forties you look sadly from the back of the wardrobe, well, look, not so bad.

Challenge 3: Oliver and Benji are amateurs

If the above sounds like a lot of drama, but that doesn't stop you from playing a game with your friends, we've got just the thing for you right here. Yes, we're going to kick the ball around until we get our highest score ever. But we're not going to use just any ball.

By now you'll know that at SENDA Ecoway we're big fans of reusing and recycling, so if you don't have any balls at home, we'll show you how to create one!

If you have any cardboard tubes, such as toilet rolls, you already have the base. You just need to cut them into smaller cylinders and then twist them together into a circular shape.

Apply a bit of glue so that it doesn't fall apart, and you've got it! You can even decorate it and make several to complicate the challenge. Or get your cat to join the challenge too, he's sure to win you over.

How many times can you manage to hit the ball without dropping it on the ground? We look forward to seeing your challenges on social media!
