Antequera beach is located on the southern coast of the Anaga massif, belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, near Igueste de San Andrés, in the north of the island, on the TF-121 road.
The only ways to reach this beach are by boat or by footpath.
It should be noted that when the sea level is high, it makes bathing difficult for users, as the waves cover a large part of the beach.
Without a doubt, this beach is a fantastic place to disconnect, thanks to the absence of cover, which will allow you to feel closer to nature.
Almáciga beach is located in the Anaga district of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the north coast of the island, on the TF-134 road.
It has a wild nature, where you can observe its fine black sand of volcanic origin.
It is known by surfing enthusiasts, thanks to its strong waves. Moreover, access to this beach is not complicated, which is why it is one of the most popular in the area.
Benijo beach , everybody got out! The road won’t take your further. Benijo is located after the “pueblito” (small village) of Taganana, in the National Park of Anaga. A 300 metres trail will take you to one of the most isolated beach of Tenerife, very recommended for a splendid sunset on the rocks on Anaga.
This amazing beach stands out for its enormous beauty. It has large volcanic cliffs in the middle of the ocean and fine shiny black sand.
To access it, you have to go down a long flight of steps. However, caution should be exercised when bathing, due to the strength of the waves and the lack of lifeguards.
Bollullo beach is located in the area of El Rincón, La Orotava, Tenerife North, on the TF-176 road.
Black sand beach, perfect for water sports fans. It is easy to access and parking will be no problem, as it has many of them.
El Ancón beach is located in the area of La Orotava, below El Rincón, Tenerife North, on the TF-176 road.
This is a beach of black volcanic sand and beautiful scenery. It is very little frequented, as you have to walk along a path for about 30 minutes to get there.
It is important to observe the sea when bathing, as there is no lifeguard.
The Patos beach is located in the municipality of La Orotava, below El Rincón, Tenerife Norte, on the TF-176 road.
Like most beaches in the north, this one is covered with black volcanic sand and a natural wilderness.
It is chosen for nudism because it is not overcrowded.
The Garañona beach is located between the municipalities of Tacoronte and El Sauzal, Tenerife North, on the TF-152 road.
It has black volcanic sand. And to access it, you must go to Mesa del Mar, a village with spectacular natural pools.
It is worth noting that its entrance is more complex, but it is really worth the pain to observe this beautiful landscape.
La Fajana beach is located in the municipality of Los Realejos, Tenerife North. Access from the TF-5 road.
One of the least visited beaches in the northern part of Tenerife, as you have to walk along a long path, up some stairs and over a rocky coastal area to reach it.
As a result, you will find yourself practically alone, thus escaping from society.
Masca beach is located on the northwest side of Tenerife, in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte, on the TF-436 road.
Its origin represents the traditional black volcanic sand of the northern part of the island.
Access is possible in two ways: either by a 2-4 hour trail with breathtaking views of the sea or by a boat trip to the sea.
The Ocadila beach is located in the district of Anaga, on the northern slope of Tenerife. Access by boat or kayak from La Punta del Hidalgo, belonging to the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna. And also, by the TF-13 road.
Going into this black sand beach, you will be able to appreciate its authenticity at landscape level, and you will also have the possibility of observing a multitude of hidden coves, such as La Pachila or Garajo, which are close to it.
The Carrizal beach is located in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte, Tenerife North, on the TF-436 road.
Its sand is dark and has a stable swell, providing you with calm and safe bathing conditions.
It is difficult to access (by boat), as it is far from the urbanisation, but it is worth the experience for its breathtaking views.
Las Breñas beach is located in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Access through the TF-134 road.
Introducing you to it, you will not only observe its sand, but also appreciate some wonderful views of the Roques de Anaga.
Rojas beach is located in the municipality of El Sauzal, Tenerife North, on the TF-1224 road.
It does not have sand, but a cliff with rocks. To access it, you must walk along its path, which is very steep, so be very careful.
However, the crystalline colour of its ocean will allow you to appreciate its marine fauna and flora, awakening in you a feeling of plenitude.
The beach of Roque Bermejo is located in the district of Anaga, belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Access through the road TF-123.
Its volcanic rock formations provide a fantastic view of the beach.
This is an excellent place to disconnect and refresh yourself after a day of hiking in Anaga, either by bathing or just enjoying the scenery.
The Apio beach is located in the village of Valle de Guerra, Tenerife North, belonging to the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna. Access by TF-163 road.
The colour of the golden sand, rocks and gravel are the main elements that compose it.
It is worth mentioning that it is sheltered in the cliffs of La Barranquera. It is easy to access and there is also a car park.
The Gaviotas beach is located in the town of San Andrés, in the district of Anaga, belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Access through the TF-121 road.
Its sand is black and it is advisable to visit when the waves are low.
This cove is located away from the urbanisation, a reason that will undoubtedly allow you to isolate yourself from stress, relax, appreciate its majestic natural landscape and enjoy its pure waters.

The Diego Hernández beach is located between El Puertito de Adeje and La Caleta, Tenerife South, on the TF-1 road, and after about 78 km, take exit nº 79B.
It is also known as "La Caleta de los hippies". It is worth mentioning its beautiful white sand, its crystal clear water with turquoise tones and the magnificent views of the island of La Gomera.
It is interesting to note that it is preferable to visit at low tide.
Access is via a convenient footpath.
The beach of Montaña Pelada is located in Granadilla de Abona, south of the island of Tenerife. You must access by the TF-1 road, and turn off at the San Isidro exit, taking the TF-64 road towards El Médano.
It has white sand and is a great place to enjoy a day in privacy.
You will also have the opportunity to observe how a volcanic cone is formed from an underwater eruption.
And you will be able to appreciate all the native flora that surrounds it (tabaibales and cardonales).
The Samarines beach is located between the municipalities of Arafo and Candelaria, belonging to the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the south of the island. Access by the local path TF-292 and the TF-283 road.
It has a mixture of 'callaos' and black sand.
It is worth mentioning that you can go snorkelling due to the transparency of its waters.
However, be careful, as there are often currents and there is no surveillance.
The Tejita beach is located in El Médano, Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife South. Access via the TF-643 road.
The light brown colour of the sand, its size (1000 metres long) and the breathtaking views of the Montaña Roja volcano make it stand out from the rest.
It is worth mentioning that it is located in one of the windiest areas of the island of Tenerife; nevertheless, it is well worth a visit.
